Our Story

Rooted in Jaipur. Made by Hand.

Every piece in our collection carries the fingerprint of the artisan who made it.

Where We Come From

JaipurJo was born from a deep love for Jaipur — the Pink City — and the extraordinary craft traditions that have flourished there for centuries. We work directly with small family workshops and independent artisans in and around the city, people who have inherited their skills across generations and continue to practise them with extraordinary precision.

The Artisans

Our makers are weavers, block-printers, jewellers, and leatherworkers — specialists in their craft. Many work from home studios or small neighbourhood workshops using techniques passed down through family lineages. We visit our artisans regularly, collaborating on design, refining details together, and ensuring that every partnership is built on fair pay and long-term relationships.

How Each Piece is Made

Handwoven stoles and shawls are woven on traditional handlooms, thread by thread — a single shawl can take days to complete. Jewellery is set by hand using time-honoured kundan and meenakari techniques. Bags and accessories are stitched and finished without mass-production shortcuts. No two pieces are ever identical, and we consider that a mark of quality, not inconsistency.

Natural Materials

We are committed to natural, responsibly sourced materials: pure silk, fine wool, hand-spun cotton, semi-precious stones, and sustainably harvested woods. We avoid synthetic shortcuts. The materials we choose age beautifully and connect you to the land and tradition they come from.

Our Values

We believe luxury should mean something. It should mean craftsmanship over convenience, provenance over production, and human skill over automation. Every purchase from JaipurJo supports an artisan family directly, keeps a traditional technique alive, and brings something genuinely rare into your home or wardrobe.

Thank you for choosing craft over commodity.
